Art Instruction Overview
The philosophy of the art instruction is to provide an inviting environment that builds self esteem and fosters the knowledge that everyone can enjoy creating art. Small class sizes and individualized instruction allow your child to explore a variety of media, including watercolor, chalk, oil pastel, tempera & acrylic paint, markers, colored pencil, collage, and more. Some of the project themes include animals, plants, ocean life, still life, landscape, famous artists and illustrators, architectural wonders, portraits, etc.
The lessons focus on the basic elements of art and support fine motor skills, focus, and attention to detail, while encouraging self expression and confidence in an age appropriate and positive environment.
